History[edit]

After the ilClan Trial, Clan Wolf became the ilClan, but Khan Alaric Ward's taking almost all the available warriors to Terra left the Wolf Empire totally defenseless. However, it has a remaining high officer: Star Colonel Othar. He, acting by his own initiative, took the control of all the Empire's resources and began creating two new Galaxies: Lupus and Rufus. They were paired with a Rufus Cluster garrisoning a planet and a Lupus one in a nearby planet, to assist the Rufus' if they were attacked.[1]

The leader of the newly created Cluster was the recently promoted Star Colonel Jacinda, a warrior which had managed to defeat, with limited forces, a raid of Wolf's Dragoons Tarantulas Battalion on planet Campbelton, on 3151.[2]

The Ninety-fourth Wolf Battle Cluster had Lupus' greatest proportion of solahma warriors, recruited from the solahma infantry.[3]

The Ninety-fourth's paired Cluster was the 105th Wolf Garrison Cluster on New Olympia which was attacked the 5 April 3152. The invading forces, the Third Free Worlds Guards and Fourth Regulan Hussars, put the 105th against the ropes, but the Wolves managed to hold. The Ninety-fourth arrived the 15 April, after making a risky pirate jump, landing over the Hussars' cantonment, surrounding the command company. The Guards didn't arrive soon, because the Wolf aerospace fighters had downed one of their DropShips. The relief force arrived a day later, saving the Hussars, but the joint force leader, Major Makeda Kay had been killed. As both League's regiments were antagonistic, their appreciated leader's loss put very bad blood between them, and a stalemate began. At the end of the month, the stalemate continued, with the Wolves unable to throw out the invaders, and these unable or unwilling to take the planet.[4]
