The BattleTech: Beginner Box, Second Edition, also known as the Vindicator Edition, is a physical game box containing the necessary pieces, papers, and material to serve as an introduction to the tabletop version of BattleTech. The boxed set is a more compact, lower-priced introduction that complements the fuller BattleTech: A Game of Armored Combat boxed set. This edition supersedes the BattleTech Beginner Box.

Notes[edit]
- The Griffin miniature in this edition uses a different number on the underside of the base than that appearing in the prior edition.
- Unlike the other BattleMechs, no free full-size record sheets have been released for the Vindicator.
- A 40th anniversary edition was released alongside an updated BattleTech: A Game Of Armored Combat.
