Overview
The Forty-fourth Cruiser Cluster was a second line military formation of Clan Diamond Shark, that was later captured and incorporated into the Touman of Clan Coyote as the Forty-fourth Battle Cluster.
History
Clan Diamond Shark
The Cluster was part of Zeta Galaxy and was stationed on Tathis between 3060 and 3067.[1][2]
In Mid 3070 Clan Coyote moved against Diamond Shark holdings in Clan space with limited trials of possession, capturing the Cluster intact and adding it to their Touman. [3]
Clan Coyote
In 3072 the Forty-fourth and the Twenty-seventh Strike Cluster hit the Steel Viper's Beta Galaxy positions on Londerholm destroying the 195th Striker Cluster in the fighting.[4]
The Cluster is not recorded in the Coyote Touman of 3085 and it must be presumed to have been destroyed during the Wars of Reaving.[5]
Officers
In 3060 and 3067 the Commanding Officer was Star Colonel Geno Sennet.[6][2]
Tactics
The Forty-fourth Cruiser Cluster used the fast machines to establish and organize a solid defense. They possessed excellent scouts who provide tactical details of the battlefield, allowing them to exploit the terrain far better.[6]
