History
The 66th Blood Hussars were newly raised in 3066-7 as part of Iota Galaxy. [1] There first operation was a joint one with Kindraa Mick-Kreese of Clan Fire Mandrill in an attack against the Adder held Tanis system. [2]
In late 3069 Khan Schmitt led Alpha and Iota Galaxies against the adders on Albion quickly capturing a Chrysaor ProtoMech factory and by the end of the year had secured 40% of the planet. [3]
In 3075 the Hussars were transferred to Alpha Galaxy and dropped on to Circe as part of the multi-Clan force of the Clan Steel Viper Annihilation. They had taken heavy casualties in the approach by hidden gun batteries but manage to drop straight on top of one battery silencing it, before linking up with Delta Galaxy of Clan Cloud Cobra and pressing the attack.[4]
By 3083 the Hussars had moved to the Colleen system. Here it was bid in defence against multiple attacks by Clan Stone Lion and Clan Coyote. The fighting was disastrous for the Spirits and after a few months only two holdings on the planet of Haven remained in their control.[5] By 3084 the Hussars could muster less than half of their warriors, and by the end of the years were wiped out. [6]
Officers
- In 3067 the Commanding Officer was Star Colonel Suzanne Church. It would appear that she was transferred to this Cluster in 3066 after losing a Trial of Grievance and her command of the 171st Crimson Guards to Andre Blood Spirit.[7][1]
- The last commander was Nancy Cluff. [6]

Suzanne Church was known for her poor tactical handling of ProtoMech forces. [7]
