The MechWarrior: Dark Age Faction Dossiers are a series of ten dossiers introducing the setting and factions of MechWarrior: Dark Age, framed as Order of Five Pillars intelligence reports. Unlike the similar pilot dossiers, these dossiers have not been officially collected and republished; Sarna uses the term 'Faction Dossier' from the back of the MechWarrior: Dark Age Starter Set box to identify them as a whole.
Overview
Faction dossiers were published in the MechWarrior: Dark Age Starter Set and on the MWDA website. One, Historical Overview, gave a timeline of the universe and short notes on the status of major houses and Clans. Another, on the Republic of the Sphere, introduced the faction and its Knights. The rest detailed the forces fighting over the Republic post-Blackout, including their elite, veteran, and green sub-units and their mottos. Similar, but not identical, writeups would later appear in Era Digest: Dark Age.
List of Dossiers
Each MechWarrior: Dark Age Starter Set contained one of eight print dossiers:

- Dragon's Fury
- Highlanders
- Historical Overview

In 2003, WizKids published two additional dossiers as PDFs on the MWDA website:
