Company Profile

Home Office: Ishikawajima (Luthien)[1]

President/CEO: Jonas Tigiki[1]

Overview

Originally R&D firm dedicated to virtual engineering for several civilian electronics and industrial companies within the Combine, the future Ishikawajima-Harima Battle Armor Industries joined the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery's Battle Armor development program as a technical consultant in the 3060s. When the first prototype of the Void suit was successful, company CEO Jonas Tigiki immediately put forth a bid to construct the new battle suit. Thanks to an upgraded production process at newly constructed facility in Luthien's southern region, IHBAI began producing the Void at a surprising rate for the DCMS.[1]

Tigiki would receive a personal commendation from Coordinator Theodore Kurita for the company's exceedingly fast turnaround, such recognition also netting IHBAI additional grant money from the DCMS which the company used to build additional facilities to ramp up production of the Void yet further. In 3066 IHBAI opened two new factories, one on Agematsu in the Galedon Military District and one on Loysville in Pesht Military District which would continue to supply parts and suits to the DCMS and the Draconis Combine Admiralty throughout the Jihad.[1][2]

Manufacturing

Ishikawajima-Harima Battle Armor Industries has a manufacturing center on the following planets:

Agematsu

Note: During the Jihad, the facility on Agematsu suffered no capital nor personnel losses, and the operating capacity of the factory in 3079 met 70% of maximum production volume.[3]

Components produced on Agematsu:[4]
Component Type
Battle Armor
Void (from 3066)[2] Medium Battle Armor

Loysville

Note: During the Jihad, the facility on Loysville suffered no capital nor personnel losses, and the operating capacity of the factory in 3079 met 85% of main production volume.[3]

Components produced on Loysville:[2]
Component Type
Battle Armor
Void (from 3066)[2] Medium Battle Armor
Void (DCA)[2] Medium Battle Armor

Luthien

Note: During the Jihad, the facility on Luthien suffered minimal capital and personnel loss of 30% and the operating capacity of the factory in 3079 was reduced to 80% of their main production volume.[3] The Ishikawajima-Harima plant fared better than many other military industrial facilities on Luthien during the Jihad because of the dispersed nature of the factory and it's location on the coastal flats of the Shizuoka continent.[5]

Components produced on Luthien:[2]
Component Type
Battle Armor
Kishi[6] Light Battle Armor
Void[7][2] Medium Battle Armor
Void Caltrop[8] Medium Battle Armor
Void (Minelayer)[9] Medium Battle Armor
Void (Nova Cat)[7] Medium Battle Armor
Void (DCA)[7] Medium Battle Armor
Zou[10] Heavy Battle Armor
