Lynn Sheridan was a member of the Black Widow Company.[2]

History

Lynn Sheridan was a trueborn from Clan Cloud Cobra who was taken as abtakha by Clan Wolf. She volunteered up to be a member of the scout mission that was to be Wolf's Dragoons.[1]

She served several years with the Dragoons, fighting at the Marik Civil War (31st c.). At the end of this conflict, before the Dragoons left New Delos, Sheridan, along with her lance members, went out on the town, and began a bar fight with Anton Marik's soldiers after repeatedly provoking them. Her lancemates were forced to knock her out to take her with them... but outside the bar, they were caught by their captain, Natasha Kerensky, who punished them all with cleaning duty. Later, Lynn participated in the combat drop the Black Widow Company made to attack New Delos and capture Anton Marik.[3]

She participated in all Black Widow Company engagements from 3015 to 3025.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12]

During the Battle of Corridan IV, Sheridan found herself face-to-face with three enemy 'Mechs. Even though Kerensky ordered her to retreat, she instead fought a slugging match that turned one enemy 'Mech into a pile of scrap metal, but left her Crusader a wreck. She avoided an immediate court martial by claiming her comm circuits had been knocked out.[2]

She fought with the rest of the Dragoons on Misery, Glenmora and Crossing.[13]

Sheridan had descendants, as the thirty-second-century MechWarrior Deborah Sheridan was her great-great-great-granddaughter.[14]

Personality

Lynn Sheridan was a rash and foolhardy MechWarrior known for her tendency to ignore orders and seek out the thickest fighting. She was a compulsive gambler with her life.[15]

Before joining The Black Widows, her superiors had marked her down as willfully insubordinate, recklessly brave, and costly, having at least once needed more repair work on her 'Mech than the rest of her lance combined.[2]

BattleMech

Lynn Sheridan uses her CRD-3R Crusader as a close assault 'Mech.[2]

Notes

Sheridan was, along with Natasha Kerensky, the only known trueborn and Bloodnamed Dragoons.
