Owner History

Planetary History

The planet Colfax was one of the targets of the Skye and Bolan Province invasion of the Free Worlds League in March 3068. The invasion by the combined forces of the two Province, named Operation ÜBERSCHATTEN, saw Colfax occupied along with the worlds of Pingree, Sheridan and Thermopolis by the 30th of March 3068. When Marshall Jeremy Brett assumed control of the local FWLM forces and launched Operation BROKEN FIST, the Free Worlds League counterattack against the invading Lyran forces, Colfax was one of his first targets, and the FWLM recaptured the world on the 2nd of July.[4]

Following the dissolution of the Free Worlds League in January 3079, elements within the Lyran Alliance moved to annex a number of former League worlds between August and September that year. Colfax was one of seven worlds conquered during this period, and the invasion only stopped when Archon Adam Steiner declared that any other bouts of what he termed "unauthorised adventurism" would be considered an act of treason.[5]
