The Jihad

In response to the asteroid bombardment of Taurus and evidence that implicated the Federated Suns, the Taurian Concordat launched a second invasion of the Federated Suns during the Jihad. Lothair was an early target, attacked during late June 3074 and secured in July along with the nearby world of Hyalite.[25][26] The Federated Suns launched a counter-offensive in February 3075 using a combination of AFFS and militia units backed up by Hansen's Roughriders, but the Taurian defenders were able to defeat the Federated Suns' first wave, retaining control of Lothair.[26][31]

Notes

The Jihad timelines present within various volumes indicate that Lothair was conquered twice, once in June 3074 and then again in July 3074. The actual chain of events was confirmed on the Catalyst Game Labs forum:

“ 3074, June: Taurian mercenaries attacked Lothair, Bromhead, Midale, Brockway and Hyalite.

3074, July: Lothair and Warrenwas finallly secured, while Lindsay, Carmichael and Diefenbaker was attacked.

3075, February: the AFFS strikes back at Lothair and Warren.
