Planetary History
First Succession War
Captain-General Kenyon Marik launched a mass invasion of the Capellan and Sarna Commonalities of the Capellan Confederation in February 2787, using ten assorted regiments of the Marik Militia, almost four times as many conventional and aerospace groups, and the bulk of the Free Worlds League Navy Second Fleet. The first wave of attacks hit Harsefeld, Ramen II, Second Chance and Vanra; protected by little more than paramilitary forces and planetary militias, both Harsefeld and Ramen II fell quickly, despite calling for assistance from the more substantial garrisons at Second Chance and Vanra. Ramen II was hit by two regiments of the Marik Militia plus their supporting forces; the invasion began with the task force naval forces - a grouping consisting of at least one battleship and two destroyers, accompanied by two squadrons of attack DropShips and three wings of aerospace fighters - swept into the system, seizing jump stations and then the major spaceports and cities.[9]
Third Succession War
Ramen II vanished from maps during the Third Succession War,[11][12] indicating that the system had been abandoned or depopulated.
