Planetary Info
Tok Do is covered by jungles and populated by many bird species. The local fauna varies in size from the two meter tall Saurus to the tiny Speck, whose wingspan barely reaches one centimeter. Despite the presence of the Alshain Weapons factory and the Combine's traditional lack of environmental concern, the humidity of Tok Do's atmosphere apparently blocks most of the airborne pollutants that would otherwise sweep the planet.[1]
In the wake of the Jihad new military factories were being constructed on Tok Do to help rebuild some of the industrial capacity lost during the Jihad; while the construction was being undertaken under the strictest secrecy, the Republic of the Sphere managed to confirm that the new factories wouldn't be active until at least 3083.[6]
