The Twenty-second Royal Infantry Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. It was one of the SLDF's Royal units, which consisted of troops from the Terran Hegemony.
History[edit]
The Twenty-second Royal Infantry Division, the Pollux RCT, and Twentieth Army Headquarters were stationed on New Oslo prior to the Periphery Uprising.[2]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as part of LXV Corps, Twentieth Army, to the Periphery Military Region.[3] Their major duties were to support the movements of three Special Armed Services teams that roamed through the Twentieth Army's former area of responsibility in the Rim Worlds Republic.[1]
The 1829th Striker Regiment was part of the 223rd Brigade and was practicing using their 'Mechs to draw a force into a brigade-sized ambush. The 1829th had four companies of Talon BattleMechs, which quickly destroyed threat forces.[1]
The Twenty-second was destroyed during the Periphery Uprising in 2765.[3]
