History
The Second Wolf Guardians was raised in 3058 from warriors of clusters that survived the Refusal War but were disbanded. The cluster rotated in posting away from Arc Royal, but was on planet in 3061 and 3067.[1][2]
The Second were on Arc Royal in 3072 when the Word of Blake struck, taking heavy casualties.[3]
In 3079 the Second was stationed on New Exford.[3] By 3085 the cluster had moved to Blue Diamond.[4]
Officers
The commanding officer between 3061 and 3067 was Star Colonel Derak Sradac.[5][2] In 3085 Star Colonel Irma Rhyde had taken command.[4]
Tactics
The Second favoured fast BattleMechs and also deployed armoured personnel carriers for the Elementals.[5]

Notes
The Cluster is correctly listed as the Second Wolf Guardians in Field Manual: Warden Clans and Field Manual: 3085. However, in Field Manual: Updates, and Field Report: Clans they are referred to as Guards. This is an error replicated with all Guardian clusters, which is most easily seen with the confusion between Alpha Galaxy's Fourth wolf Guards and Omega Galaxy's Fourth Wolf Guardians.
