In 3067 the Fortieth was stationed on the world of Hector.[1]
The exact fate of the Cluster is not recorded, but in 3072 Alpha Galaxy retreated to Vantaa, here along with the remnant of Zeta Prime Galaxy they were assaulted by Clan Jade Falcon's Alpha and Delta Galaxies as well as Clan Hell's Horses's Iota Galaxy. Tactics
A predominantly infantry formation, the Fortieth practiced rapid assaults with BattleMechs carrying Elementals onto the battlefield. They were often used to disrupt the flanks of enemy forces during battle.[3]
