History[edit]
Early Clan History[edit]
In 2823, Khan Lisa Buhallin unsuccessfully bid four clusters from Delta Galaxy to take on Clan Wolverine in the Trial of Annihilation.[1]
Operation REVIVAL[edit]
The Galaxy took part in fighting on the following worlds:
Wave One[edit]
Wave Two[edit]
Wave Three[edit]
Wave Four[edit]
Wave Five[edit]
Post-Tukayyid[edit]
The unit was understrength for a number of years following Operation REVIVAL, with just two Clusters pulling garrison duty on Alyina and Hot Springs. [2] Reinforced with two additional Clusters in 3057 for expected action against Clan Steel Viper, they eventually ended up fighting in the Refusal War against Clan Wolf. As of 3059, Delta was the strategic reserve for the Rimward area of the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone, although at this time none of its component Clusters was considered fully operational. [3]
Jihad[edit]
Great X[edit]
Took part in an assault on the Lyran Alliance world of Great X in 3071[4]
Dark Age[edit]
Delta Galaxy was one of the Jade Falcon units to follow Malvina Hazen in her assault. They took part in the fighting on Skye, and participated in a drive on Coventry. Unfortunately this exhausted them, and they needed time to recover. However, by the time the Falcons hit Tharkad they were ready for combat. They participated in the Falcon assault on Tharkad, but were driven off-world. In 3145 they raided several systems near Tharkad and this allowed them to keep their edge, but Clan Wolf-in-Exile constantly posed a threat to their supply lines.[5]
On February 15, 3148, Delta Galaxy and two Gamma Galaxy Clusters landed on Coventry. The world was defended by the 17th Arcturan Guards. The Falcons landed at the Port St. William Spaceport. The Falcons destroyed the mine entrances that had been so effective during the 3058 incursion. Elements of Delta Galaxy met the Seventeenth in the Ridesein River Valley. The Falcons sent a Trinary to destroy Whitting, the location of their previous defeat and the impetus for the second Star League. Malvina Hazen thought the Second Star League was a sham, and wanted any reference to it destroyed. Footage of the Falcons destroying Whitting was broadcast to the Lyran defenders, severely affecting morale.[6]
After two weeks of combat, the 15th Arcturan Guards and 2nd Royal Guards, led by General of the Armies Roderick Steiner and Hauptmann-General Jasek Kelswa-Steiner. After another two weeks of combat, the Falcons isolated Jasek Kelswa-Steiner's command company and attacked. The LCAF troops forced the Falcons into a strategic withdrawal but at the cost of Hauptmann-General Kelswa-Steiner's life. The Second Royal Guards were able to reclaim the spaceport and inflict heavy losses on the First Falcon Striker and Fifty-third Falcon Talon Clusters; Eventually the Fifty-third withdrew to Upano. The loss of the Fifty-third and the other Falcon losses meant that Delta was outnumbered. Eventually Galaxy Commander Stephanie Chistu challenged Roderick Steiner to single combat and lost. The General of the Armies offered the Falcons hegira, allowing the Falcons to leave. After withdrawing from Coventry, two Clusters of Delta Galaxy drove Clan Wolf's Bronze Keshik from Pobeda. Galaxy Commander Chistu offered the Wolves hegira.[7]
In November 3150 elements of Delta Galaxy landed on Zollikofen and began destroying civilian infrastructure, agricultural fields, and civilian industries. These tactics were ordered by Malvina Hazen. As soon as the damage was inflicted, Republic of the Sphere defenders were drawn out into combat with the Falcons.[8]
