Star Colonel Sarah DelVillar was the commanding officer of Clan Ghost Bear's Third Bear Guards in the years following the Clan Invasion.[1]

History[edit]

Forty-fifth Elemental Support Binary[edit]

As of 3052, DelVillar was a Star Captain, and the commander of the Third Bear Guards' Forty-fifth Elemental Support Binary.[2]

Third Bear Guards[edit]

By 3061, DelVillar had been promoted to Star Colonel, and assumed overall command of the Third Bear Guards.[1][3] She took over this role following the transfer of Star Colonel Hunter Tseng, who had been the unit's longtime commander, including during Operation REVIVAL.[4]

Relations with Rasalhague[edit]

DelVillar was responsible for taking Ragnar Magnusson, at the time a warrior of Clan Wolf-in-Exile, as a bondsman in 3061 or early 3062 during a raid on the Utrecht system by the Exiled Wolves.[5]

During a Ghost Bear Clan Council meeting on 7 February 3068, however, DelVillar opposed a motion by the Bear Khans to assist the remnant Free Rasalhague Republic against attacks by the Word of Blake, on the basis it would be unprovoked aggression by the Bears.[6][7]

First Combine-Dominion War[edit]

The Third Bear Guards fought in the First Combine-Dominion War during 3062 and 3063 under the leadership of DelVillar, who was credited with their excellent performance, as well as the disappearance of the unit's penchant for needless violence which had been characteristic of it during the Clan Invasion.[4]

Later Career[edit]

As of 3085, DelVillar was still in command of the Third Bear Guards.[8]

BattleMech[edit]

DelVillar piloted an Executioner OmniMech.[5]
