Clan Wolf maintained a large fleet among the Clans, at least until their sundering into Crusader and Warden factions. Even so, much like the Jade Falcons, the Wolves contracted for Clan Snow Raven to lease them vessels for the duration of Operation REVIVAL, though the agreement lapsed and all vessels were returned by 3059. The loss of six WarShips to the Wolves in Exile left the Crusader Wolves (née Jade Wolves) with a deficiency, as with the rest of their touman. The need of maintaining a fleet across such a large distance between the Clan Homeworlds and their Occupation Zone meant that most of their vessels were not to be found in the Inner Sphere proper, but rather along the Exodus Road or at the Homeworld holdings.[1]

A large fraction of vessels were lost in the Homeworlds at the time of the Wars of Reaving, either in trade to their long-time allies Clan Coyote or against new foes Clan Hell's Horses, while even more were lost against the Word of Blake in the Jihad. Post-relocation, the Wolves contracted with Clan Sea Fox to maintain their vessels, as they had no ability of their own. The founding of the Wolf Empire did little to assuage this issue, though the ilClan Trial will likely solve at least a few of their ongoing problems keeping their WarShips in good order.[2]
