A detailed description of McGehee was provided in the (apocryphal) German novel Royal Flush. According to this novel, the world is an unremarkable agrarian world originally within the Federated Suns, colonized well over 100 years prior to 2602 when it was conquered by the Draconis Combine. It featured two major continents—Berkeley in the north, and Rhindoe to the south. A day was 26 hours while a local year was 420 days. As of 2602, the world had only 4 million inhabitants, 700,000 of them in the capital city of Mainu on Berkeley.
