The Aucara system is the location of at least one habitable world or construct and as of 3145 was located in the Sirdar Operational Area of the Capellan March within the Federated Suns.[1][2]

System Description[edit]

The Aucara system lies close to the Chouli and Mandaree systems.[3]

System History[edit]

The Aucara system was colonized at some point during the Star League era after the end of the Reunification War.[4][3]

Planetary History[edit]

In 2762, a bomb exploded at a senior staff meeting for the 166th Mechanized Infantry Division. This resulted in the death of the unit's commander, two brigade commanders and seriously wounding many on the senior command staff. It was suspected that the bomb was planted by Capellan agents, but no conclusive proof was found.[41]

Aucara was one of ten worlds assaulted by the CCAF during the third week of March 3069, a wave of attacks that formed a part of Operation THUNDERSTRIKE, the Capellan counteroffensive against the Capellan March in defiance of Duke George Hasek's campaign Operation SOVEREIGN JUSTICE.[42]
