Brooklyn Stevens had a Ph.D. in archeology and used to work for Interstellar Expeditions until ca. 3060. Described as physically charming, with light bronze skin and long auburn hair, she was married to Tyler Stevens and her native language appeared to be German.
Stevens parted ways with IE on bad terms after an unspecified incident on Vulture's Nest which she remembered as a "disaster"; she and her crew suffered outrageous treatment by IE. However, IE would later acknowledge (seeking to hire Stevens again) that whatever had happened had not been her fault after all, blaming Project Director Denderhoff instead. Stevens thought of Denderhoff as a rugged mercenary who would not listen to advice.
Mission to Rocky[edit]
Employed by Duke Robert Kelswa-Steiner in 3067, she (together with her team, which included Tibor Mitternacht and Marissa Boerefijn) retrieved the Chalice of Uston DeKirk from the ancient wreckage of an oceangoing vessel on Rocky, a devastated and abandoned world that had been thrown into a nuclear winter.

In the Dark Age era, Stevens' grandchildren Stefka and Yeska Riviera started to investigate into her fate, and again found that a shadowy agency sought to hinder or even murder them, leading to the "accident" that destroyed the DropShip Lusitania IV with all hands over Moore in 3135 after Stefka Riviera had discovered something in her grandparents' grave on the world.[2]
