Early History

The Cholame system was colonised at some point during the First Exodus from Terra.[3]

First Succession War

A minor and unimportant system deep in Davion space, Cholame was abandoned by the AFFS as the Draconis Combine Mustered Soldiery drove towards New Avalon, with even the Draconis Combine skipping garrisoning the world. Sending an AFFS battlefleet into Kurita-held terrority in 2790 in the hope of destroying Combine naval forces to slow the offensive, Cholame was selected by taskforce commander Admiral Kenneth Jones as a rest and rendezvous point, unaware that the DMI had disastrously failed to discover that the Combine's invasion armada had chosen Cholame as its own redoubt.
