The Cyrton system was home to at least one habitable world or construct and as at 3145 was located in the June Operational Area of the Periphery March within the Federated Suns.[1][2]

System Description

The Cyrton system is located near the Organo and Verdigreis systems.[1][2]

System History

The Cyrton system was colonized by the Taurian Homeworlds in 2317[3] and became a member of the Taurian Concordat when that nation formed in the early twenty-fourth century.

Notes

The First Edition Periphery sourcebook indicates that Cyrton was founded by colonists from Taurus in 2317. However, it describes Cyrton as being one of five worlds colonised by settlers from Taurus between 2310 and 2330, all of which are described as being within Flannagan's Nebulea, and that later colonization efforts extended as far away from Taurus as Midale, Brockway and Hyalite. Cyrton's position on maps is approximately twice as far from Taurus as Hyalite, indicating that this is an error.[3]

In Field Manual: 3085 and Jihad: Final Reckoning the system is misspelt as Cynon.[34][35]
