Product Description[edit]
“ | ABANDONED BY THE ARCHON…
Once the founding capital and a vital planet in the Lyran Commonwealth, Arcturus has been held by the Clans for more than two decades, most recently by the Jade Falcons. But when the Falcons suddenly abandon the planet in early 3151, Arcturus is left to fend for itself, with no support from Archon Trillian Steiner or former-Commonwealth worlds. For Hauptmann-General Sarah Regis, commander of the Twenty-Sixth Arcturan Guards, returning home means a chance to free Arcturus from Clan control. However, the planet is not the same one she remembers. Instead, she finds a weary population fractured by internal strife, starvation, and the remnants of Jade Falcon cruelty. To save Arcturus from itself, Sarah must forge a new path forward, one that offers her people something they haven't known in many years: hope. But many wish to see her fail, and the space around Arcturus teems with predators seeking to destroy everything she has fought for. Sarah’s last hope to move Arcturus into a brighter future may actually lie in its past…if she can stay alive long enough to make it happen… |

Plot summary[edit]
The 3 June 3151, a LCAF recon team arrives to the planet Arcturus, in the Jade Falcon Occupation Zone, and there they make contact with a resistance local team, which informs them than the Jade Falcons have departed, and the planet was free. On the planet Kandersteg, Hauptmann-General Sarah Regis receives the inform, and, by her own initiative, decides to return her unit, the LCAF 26th Arcturan Guards, to Arcturus, their homeworld. Their officers agree to it. Meanwhile, on Arcturus, Quaid McKlaven, the leader of local resistance, assists to a meeting of politicians, which aren't interested in nothing more than fill their pockets and argue about everything, while the population is hungry. The threat of a civil war was looming, and nobody knew how to prevent it. The arrival of the 26th on Arcturus was totally unexpected, and apparently, everybody welcomed it, though most of the population don't want to rejoin the Lyran Commonwealth. Still worse, a cell of Jade Falcons was still active, and launches a crippling attack against the power plants of the capital. Sarah Regis was forced to take more initiatives: as the planet Blue Diamond, under the control of a petty dictator, was holding the food shipments, she send a force to remove him. Finally, with the approval of most of Arcturus' authorities, Sarah declares martial law on Arcturus, and announces the reformation of the Tamar Pact. The Lyran loyalists inside the unit are sent back to Lyran space, and she send a third of her forces to take another planet, Kerensky's vision, conquering it easily. Slowly, the Pact grows, and finds help in other places, like the Alyina Mercantile League, and Clan Sea Fox, but also more enemies. A planet with BattleMech factories, Pandora, was conquered, though at a high cost. But the worst enemy was in the Pact's capital: the loyal opposition, along with the Jade falcon cell, launch a total attack during a royal marriage ceremony, threatening to decapitate the Pact, but they failed, and the Falcons were annihilated. However, the opposition managed to survive, and began playing their next move against the pact.
