Planet Overview
Richmond appears to be a habitable planet, with breathable atmosphere, forests and rivers.
In 2825 Richmond was home to an internment camp which was raided by the Minnesota Tribe. Although the tribe presumably couldn't know about the camp, the tribe took all of the prisoners off world with them.[1]
By 3062, it was considered a "small" world, with the capital city of Newport containing the HPG, the principal spaceport and a quarter of the total population. Nestled within an evergreen forest, Newport is situated on the bank of the very large New James River which is 600 meters across at its widest point, and deep enough for ocean-going ships. Another mentioned land feature is the Derrington Plateau, apparently situated to the south.[2]

Richmond also housed an Interstellar Expeditions office in 3095. This office coordinated all Coreward operations.[3]
