Owner History

Planetary History

Trondheim was a longtime possession of the Draconis Combine, but they gave it up in 3034 when the Free Rasalhague Republic was created. In 3022 several volcanoes began erupting, putting massive amounts of ash into the atmosphere. This affected the amount of sunlight reaching the world's surface, and as a consequence, affected the world's ecology. Fortunately the active geology allowed easy access to the precious metals and rare minerals in the planet's crust.[1]

Trondheim, along with most of the Republic, was conquered by the Clans during their invasion. Trondheim in particular was conquered by Clan Ghost Bear, in whose possession the world remained for over a decade. In 3067 Clan Diamond Shark took it as a part of the plan to establish trading posts in the Inner Sphere Occupation Zones of the Clans.
