According to the (apocryphal) novel Die Albatros-Akte, all military installations in the Inner Sphere (as of 2838) employ a "Terra-norm-time" schedule where a planetary day is divided into 24 hours while the length of one hour is variable from planet to planet to account for local differences. The local time on Uzhgorod has 41 standard minutes per hour, said to be the shortest in the entire Lyran Commonwealth at the time.[1]
