Curtiss Militech is a division of Curtiss Hydroponics, a manufacturer of water purification systems that branched into military hardware.
Overview
After Curtiss Militech's formation, the company quickly created the design of its debut BattleMech in 3055: the Wraith.[1] By 3067, Curtiss Militech was still considered a little-known military technologies division.[3]
After the dissolution of the Free Worlds League in 3079, the company's output went to the Duchy of Graham-Marik.[2]
On 26 February 3080, forces from the Principality of Regulus bombarded the planet with thousands of cobalt-laced strategic nuclear weapons.[4] The planet and its Curtiss Militech factory were both destroyed.[5] Following the destruction of its sole factory, Curtiss Hydroponics announced its withdrawal from the military market altogether and the sale of its Curtiss Militech assets. By 3085, Hellespont Industrials had expressed interest in the Wraith while the Duchy of Tamarind-Abbey was seeking to acquire the Eagle and Yeoman.[6]
