History

Formation

The 11th Ghost regiment was formed by the Rekara yakuza clan. They provided all the warriors, as well as a quarter of the 'Mechs and equipment. The 11th is fiercely competitive, particularly with the 12th Ghost. They will use any means necessary to win an encounter.[1]

Ronin Wars

As of early 3050, a Wolfnet report speculated that the unit was based on Midway. [2]

War of 3039

Matar

The unit was selected as one half of the task force which have the goal to reconquer Matar from the AFFS. The unit lost one jumpship with its docked dropship through an accident. The DCMS forces continued their invasion even under such circumstances. The AFFS units on the world had difficults to pacify the planet because of the stiff resistance of the people. The 11th Ghost landed simutanly with the 12th Ghost on the Tri-City. The citizens welcomed the Ghost units as liberators but when the 1st Kestrel Grenadiers start the conter assaukt the situatin turned worse. Hundreds of people were killed and entire street were destroyed. The people decide to fight the Uhlans and Grenadiers. That was the turning point for the commanding officers of the Davion command to leave the world immedatly. [3]

Clan Invasion

Operation Bulldog

Dominion War

During the Dominion War the 11th Ghost redeployed to Numki to protect the Clan front from Ghost Bear aggression.[4] During this same time they encountered their rivals in the 12th Ghost on Najha, engaging in a war of pranks that became increasingly deadly.

Federated Suns Incursion

The 11th Ghost was scheduled to rotate to the Draconis March to counterattack the Federated Suns, but their JumpShip unexpectedly suffered a drive failure. This stranded them on Numki for an additional six months, by which time the incursion had ended. The 11th Ghost's members blame the 12th Ghost for the drive failure.[4]

Jihad

In late 3069 Clan Snow Raven attacked Valencia. The two battalions of the Eleventh Ghost that were stationed on that world were destroyed.[5] After that loss, the remaining battalion was redeployed to Camlann on the Clan Ghost Bear border. The Eleventh was to serve as reinforcements for Operation SCOUR, but in reality they were too weak to do anything other than defend the world from Clan attacks.[6]

In 3079 the unit was at 40% of it's pre-Jihad strength.[6]

After the Jihad the Ghost Regiments were officially disbanded.

Officers

One officer Chu-sa Riteccini is believed to be a MIIO operator, smuggled into the Combine during his early adulthood.[1]

As of 3059 to 3067 the commander is Tai-sa Tomi Ourho, who leads two battalions on Valentina. The other battalion is stationed on Delacruz under the command of Chu-sa Teyhiku Wara.[1][7] Tai-sa Ourho and his officer corps were probably killed during the Snow Raven attack on Valentina.

The Eleventh's commander isn't stated in 3079, but is probably Chu-sa Wara.[8]

As of 3085 the commanding officer was Tai-sa Petar Hendrikx.[9]

Tactics

The unit will try anything to control a battle. They combine the fire of several machines on one enemy mechs. Other tactics are to lure small groups in positions were the waiting heavier mechs could destroy them easily. When the numbers turn against them they fall back for regroup. The command use all possibilities to gain victory.
