- Word of Blake forces attack Luthien, creating a three-way battle involving Kokuryu-kai rebels and Draconis Combine troops loyal to Theodore Kurita
- Word of Blake forces attack Tukayyid, devastating the ComGuard troops stationed there, as well as the 1st Royal BattleMech Regiment of the Star League Defense Force and the 21st Centauri Lancers.
- Elements of the Free Worlds League's Sirian Lancers assault Skye to foment chaos for the Word of Blake.
- Duke Robert Kelswa-Steiner of Skye declares war on the Free Worlds League.
