Planetary History
Clan Invasion
In October 3050 Skokie was conquered by Clan Wolf as part of Operation Revival's Fourth Wave, with major battles taking place at Trupelo and Port Marion. The 4th Striker Cluster's Trinaries Second and Third Mixed Services expected an easy fight against the 1st and 2nd Skokie Militia Tank Regiments, which lived down to their expectations by fleeing. While few losses were had on either side during the fight, the planet itself proved to be a more effective combatant than it's inhabitants. The Skokie Shivers, a local variant of meningitis, struck down two-thirds of the Wolf invaders. The units were effectively removed from the invasion while they were under quarantined until they recovered.[1]
