Planetary History[edit]

Star League Era[edit]

In 2785 the Lyran Commonwealth took full control of both Unzmarkt and Vorarlberg, worlds which had been co-administered with the Terran Hegemony during the Star League era.[10]

Fourth Succession War[edit]

During the Fourth Succession War the Lyran Commonwealth conquered Unzmarkt as a part of the final wave of attacks of Operation GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG.[22][52][23] The Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces dispatched two RCTs from the Arcturan Guards - the Twenty-fourth and Twenty-fifth - to capture the planet.[52]

Clan Invasion[edit]

Operation REVIVAL[edit]

Unzmarkt was conquered by Clan Wolf as part of their Fourth Wave of attacks during Operation Revival in July 3050. Trinaries Command and Striker, along with Alpha and Bravo Assault Novas of the Thirty-seventh Striker Cluster, faced off against the Unzmarkt Free Rebel Armored Division. Initially the defenders made a good show of themselves, holding back the two Novas for three days along the shores of the Hester-Kester Fjord. Unfortunately they also ran their military like a democracy, which caused a lack of discipline and effectively doomed their efforts. The division's strong defensive line was quickly breached and the capital Castle Rock seized, ending resistance to Clan Wolf rule.[53]

During the fighting, Star Captain Harrell Vickers deliberated destroyed a dam on the Chalagwa River. This resulted in one thousand non-combatant deaths and untold destruction to property and homes.[54]

Jihad[edit]

Unzmarkt was the subject of a second invasion between April and August 3071 when forces from Clan Hell's Horses invaded the Clan Wolf occupation zone in the Inner Sphere, attempting to annex planets to form their own holding in Spheroid space.[39] As the Hell's Horses campaign began to stall, Clan Wolf launched a series of counterattacks; Unzmarkt was targeted by Clan Wolf in October, and Wolf forces had retaken the world by the 14th of November.[39][40][41] Between the 14th and 31st of January 3072 the Wolves forced the last of the Hell's Horses off Unzmarkt.[41][55]

Dark Age[edit]

When Clan Wolf abandoned its occupation zone early in 3137 Unzmarkt was annexed then or later by the Rasalhague Dominion.[49]

In April 3147 Unzmarkt was one of three Dominion worlds attacked by the Hell's Horses during Operation NOYAN. The planet was successfully taken and incorporated into the Hell's Horses Occupation Zone.[51]
