The New Ålborg system was either colonized at some point during the Star League era after the end of the Reunification War, or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough during this period for the Inner Sphere nations to begin recording its location on maps.[3][1][2] New Ålborg vanished from maps during the Second Succession War,[4][5] indicating that the system had been abandoned, depopulated, or rendered too insignificant to merit further reporting.
