Planet description

Prior to the Fall of the Star League, Repulse was a lush agricultural world where valuable ore veins had just recently been discovered. However, as the planet had a low population, there was not much manpower to take advantage of the potential. In an act of ingenuity, the planetary government offered land grants to any SLDF soldier that settled on world. Additional benefits would be given if the soldier also signed up for the militia. By 2764, the Repulse militia has swelled in size at the cost of resident SLDF units such as the 19th Infantry Division.[3]

Repulse is described in some detail in the (apocryphal) German novel Gier, where it is portrayed as a frigid ocean world with domed underwater cities (such as Guandoa), but also desolate, rocky (granite) land masses.
