Dark Age Era

Radu was left behind on Gienah, being trained by Ricard (Clan Wolf), when the Wolf Khan Alaric Ward took his clan entire touman to participate in the Battle of Terra.[1]

ilClan Era

The 4th June 3151, Radu fough his Trial of Position. The young one achieved three victories, downing a Vulture, a Warwolf and a Wulfen, becoming Star Captain, and the first new warrior of the ilClan.[2]

The 18th June, Othar invited Radu and Ricard to a meeting at his command post. Then, he said them than Alaric Ward had won on Terra, and Clan Wolf was now the IlClan. Radu became angry for having lost the chance to fight in Terra, Ricard had to intervene to calm him. Othar took Radu to speak with the merchant factor Ilene, and Othar tell him of his plans to create new units, and the first will be lead by Radu. Radu disagreed, telling Othar he was usurping Alaric Ward's authority, but Othar didn't change his plans.[3]

The 35 July, Radu, which had already his unit, the Den Keshik active, was with Othar when received the young warrior Kiley (Clan Wolf) after arriving to Gienah. The young girl, righ after completing her Trial of Position, had defeated a Mercenary raid on the planet Midkiff. Othar made her tell her victory's story to a group of Elementals in training. Later, Ricard, Radu and Othar walked with Kiley, while Othar explained her the critical defensive situation of the Empire... and his intention to put her at front of a newly formed Cluster.[4]

The 15th september, Radu traveled with Othar to planet Shasta, where a newly created Cluster, the Ninety-Second Guards repulsed a Mercenary raid. Later, they received the unexpected visit of the Clan Sea Fox SaKhan Petr Kalasa, which offered assistance of the Clan Protectorate forces to defend the empire in exchange of control of all Empire's functional or nonfunctional HPGs, to which Radu opposed.[5]

The 18 January of 3152, once again on Gienah, Othar was to accept Kalasa's offer, but Radu opposed to it and declared a Trial of Refusal against Othar, which quickly defeated him after they fought inside a elevator. Radu suffered of two ribs and an arm broken, and reluctantly submited to Othar while he made his deal with the Sea Fox SaKhan.[6]

The 28 March of 3152, Radu was with Ricard and Othar when the last one finally obtained a 'Mech for him, a Blood Reaper, and talked about the Empire's military's situation.[7].

The 6 of June, when the Wolf's Dragoons unit Zeta Battalion attacked gienah, Radu informed Othar of the attack and he was ordered to movilize the Den Keshik, which he did.[8] Radu hadn't a chance to fight until Zeta reached Alliago City, the Empire's capital. There, when the Den Keshik and the Ninety-First Wolf Guards where being turned to scrap, he prepared an ambush. The 11 June, the fight on the streets separed him of Othar's lance, and came to his assistance.[9]

When he arrived, Othar's 'Mech was downed, but Ricard had rescued him and, jumping on Radu's 'mech with his armour, they managed to flee.[10]

The next day, Zeta retreated from planet, and Othar, which was sunk, informed him of the arrival of a message from Terra. Thinking it carried good news, Radu smiled and laugh... but after reading it, Othar explained than the IlKhan won't be coming back to the Empire soon.[11]

Relationships

Radu had a friendly and near relationship with Ricard. The young one enjoyed provoking his old trainer all the time, turning apparent insults in jokes. Radu respected Othar, but disapproved his attitude with lower caste and his measures to preserve the Empire.[12]
