The Thirteenth Battle Cluster was a second-line formation that was promoted to front line status after the Refusal War.

History[edit]

The Tenth Wolf Regulars was assigned to Iota Galaxy, and was stationed on Vantaa in 3054.[1]

The Cluster was promoted to front-line status in the wake of the Refusal War, which ended in 3057, as the short-lived Tenth Wolf Regulars Battle Cluster in Tau Galaxy in the Jade Wolf forces.[2] The Cluster was soon designated Thirteenth Wolf Battle Cluster and assigned to Beta Galaxy as Vladimir Ward reorganized the Wolf touman in 3058.[3] In 3059 it was stationed on Carse.[4]

The Thirteenth Wolf Battle Cluster was based on Quarell in 3067.[5]

In 3083 one Star from the unit raided Surcin, but was repulsed by elements of the 17th Arcturan Armor Regiment.[6]

In 3108 the Thirteenth Wolf Guard Battle Cluster faced a Binary of forces from the First Wolf Guardians on Borghese. The Exiled Wolves tested the Mongrel BattleMech in the fight.[7]

The Cluster was stationed at Alchiba alongside the Second Wolf Assault Cluster in 3145 after the formation of the new Wolf Empire.[8]

On 2 March 3150 the Thirteenth Battle Cluster landed on Skye, performing a combat drop on the city of New London. They fought the 124th Falcon Striker Cluster, facing Galaxy Commander Noritomo Helmer's command unit as well. However the Falcon's aggression was turned against them when the Thirteenth Battle Cluster held them in place, allowing the Ninth Wolf Guard Striker Cluster to slam into their flank. After fighting for ten days the Falcons left Skye to the Wolves. Shortly thereafter, Galaxy Commander Helmer was taken prisoner by Star Colonel Don Cooper, the Thirteenth's commander.[9]
