History[edit]

The Amaris Dragoons were one of the premier forces of the Rim Worlds Republic.

During the Amaris Civil War the Dragoons landed an entire division on Karilon and killed everyone who didn't support Stefan Amaris. Survivors from the Karilon Massacre eventually joined the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces, becoming the 9th Lyran Regulars.[1]

The Dragoons Regiments were generally formed into Brigades and one or two of these was assigned to each Republican Guard Division. Other individual Dragoon Regiments were assigned to support the Amaris Regular Divisions.[2]
