Christian Kell

Christian Kell (Born 3026- Died 3073) was an Mechwarrior officer in the Kell Hounds Mercenary Unit. He is the son of Patrick Kell and ethnic Draconis Combine artist Takara, as well as the nephew of Morgan Kell.

Character History

Early Life

Christian's birth was unknown to Patrick, whom Takara decided not to tell, so he would not be forced to stay with him.

After his mother's death, he discovered the identity of his father. He also found out that he had a brother. He confronted his uncle at the age of 16 in 3042 on the world of Arboris. After he presented evidence of his origin, Morgan took leave absence from the Unit and took him to Outreach, where he was trained by the Wolf's Dragoons as officer. MacKenzie Wolf took a particular interest in his training, and Christian even briefly served with the Wolf Spider Battalion before returning to the Kell Hounds.

Jihad & Death

By the year 3072, Christian had risen to the rank of Lt. Colonel, acting commanding officer of Kell Hound's 1st Regiment.

In August 28th, 3073, the unit had been based on New Exford, when the Word of Blake's 50th Shadow Division attacked. The raid had devasted the unit, after the 50th's "head hunter" squads successfully killed Christian. Demoralized, the unit's moral broke, causing them to take heavy casualties. Later, Christian's uncle Morgan Kell, when hearing the news, was devastated and declared three days of mourning in remembrance of the dead.

Character Notes

• Christian's first name was chosen by his mother to reflect that he was the son of a Christian man.
• During the Red Corsair crisis, he piloted a clan-modified Thunderbolt. During Operation Bulldog, he piloted a Stormcrow OmniMech.
• Even after serving with the Kell Hounds and Wolf's Dragoons for over a decade, Christian Kell still followed a largely Kuritan lifestyle as of 3051, much to the surprise of Shin Yodama.
