The Silveroot Keshik is the traditional command of the saKhan and also the headquarters unit of Alpha Galaxy.  It is a great honour to serve in this unit, and only the best manage to earn places in it.  It is an unwritten requirement that every member of the Keshik must have successfully completed the Clawing.  As a result, the warriors of the Silveroot Keshik are savage combatants in and out of their machines.  The unit insignia is a golden oak tree with silver roots, emblazoned on a blue shield shaped like a bear's head.

The Silveroot Keshik serves as both the traditional command unit of the Clan Ghost Bear saKhan and as the headquarters unit of Alpha Galaxy. Only the best of Clan Ghost Bear can earn a spot in the Silveroot Keshik, as it is an unwritten rule that every member has successfully completed the Clawing ritual. The result is that Silveroot warriors have a reputation for being savage combatants both in and out of their machines.[1]

During Operation Revival the Silveroot Keshik took part in battles for control of Last Frontier and Alshain, as well as the pivotal Battle of Tukayyid.
