System Description
Wynn's Roost is located near the Vangburg and Nerum systems.[3]
System History
The Wynn's Roost system was either colonized or annexed by the Outworlds Alliance during the Star League era[2][3] or it was an already-inhabited system that gained enough significance during that period to be marked on maps by Inner Sphere nations. The world continue to persist despite the conflicts and Outworlds Alliance technological decline. It would become capital of the Trader's Domain, a short lived micro-state, which would be short live due to it's member worlds being unable not cooperate and ultimately break up the Domain. It would become a independent world again, and pirates whom roamed the Outworlds Wastes. These pirates raid Wynn's Roost over coast of the years and destroy several cities and kill in time millions of the world's citizenry by the Thirty Century.[4]
Wynn's Roost vanished from maps during the Third Succession War,[5][6] indicating that the system had been abandoned, depopulated or rendered too insignificant to merit further recording.
Planetary Rulers
President Tanala Dyson (3059-3072) had to deal with the reality of Clan Snow Raven operating in the area and has established the standing "Dyson Doctrine”[1]. In 3120 under the "New Russolillo Skills Program" of President Christopher Gowens Wynn's Roost has established a trade mission on New Avalon and is starting to attract skilled immigrants from the 'Golden Five Worlds' in the Federated Suns[1].
Geography
Wynne's Roost has five continents, Oneland, Twoland, Threeland, Turnerland and Wynnland. Oneland, Twoland and Threeland have been named originally after the Wives of the founder of the Colony, Turner Wynn. After an ugly divorce he ordered the continents renamed[1].
Industrial Centers
The planet exports mostly minerals such as germanium, platinum, rhenium, and rare earth elements[1]. Wynn’s Roost has little hard currency for interstellar trade but actively attracts skilled immigrant by promising them large homes, high wages in planetary scrip, and personal servants[1].
