Owner History

Planetary Info

Albalii was a desert world when it was first settled. The three continents were isolated from the nearby oceans by steep cliffs, effectively turning the continents into large plateaus. The original settlers balked at the cost of importing fresh water from other worlds, and so the Albalii government instead hired DropShips to ferry large amounts of seawater from their oceans into artificial lakes. This water was then purified and the minerals removed. The process of filling the lakes took ten years, but was well worth the effort. Even after the fall of the Star League the world's transformation remained. Most of the world's cities are located along the coasts of these artificial oceans, overseeing the production of food in the croplands they've created. The inhabitants of Albalii are justifiably proud of their accomplishments, particularly the amount of arable land they're cultivating which exceeds that of the original settlers by a factor of a thousand.[1]
