The Bremond system was home to at least one habitable world or construct and as at 3145 was located in the Kaznejoy Prefecture of the New Samarkand Military District within the Draconis Combine.[1][2]

System Description

The Bremond system is located near the Brundage and Saumur systems.[3]

System History

The Bremond system was settled at some point during or prior to the end of the Age of War and was a member of the Federated Suns by the end of that era.[4][5]

In the early 2760s Bremond was struck by hostile forces who seized the complex at the zenith jump point. At the time, Bremond was garrisoned by the Thirty-fifth Avalon Hussars, a regiment that had been reactivated only a year before after more than a century since the regiment had been retired following the Council Edict of 2650. The Thirty-fifth launched an operation to recapture the complex, beginning with a daring space assault; the hostile forces were taken by surprise and were unable to prevent the Thirty-fifth from recapturing the facility. After the battle the Thirty-fifth continued to practise operating in space, having earned the nickname "The Dark Water Boys".[40]
