Planetary Information

Carlisle has three continents. The largest, Worrsetgard, is home to both the capital city (New Prague) and the Bowie Industries plant. The other two continents are Hozernems and Hollens. The planet is located in the Alarion Province, and is a largely peaceful and industrialized terrestrial planet. Since it was so highly industrialized, it was defended by a large militia as well as the factory defense forces.[1]

Carlisle was largely settled by Germans and Slovakians who emigrated from Terra. As a result the most popular languages on Carlisle were German and Czech. The population was also a supporter of the LCAF, but held the pro-peace attitudes of their fellow province members.[1]

Bowie Industries located their Carlisle plant near the city of Brinnosburg[38], while S.L. Lewis Incorporated located their factory near Trumbull.[39]
