The Thirtieth Mechanized Strike Cluster was a Strike Cluster of Clan Hell's Horses.

In 3059 the Thirtieth was stationed along with the rest of Alpha Galaxy on Niles.[1]
When Khan Malavai Fletcher built up his Clan's presence in the Inner Sphere in the early 3060s, he left the Thirtieth behind in Clan space, possibly as part of his machinations to sideline his rival James Cobb.[2] By 3067 the Cluster had been transferred to Bearclaw.[3]
After the Jihad the Thirtieth was first posted to Harvest in 3079 and later to Chateau by 3085, with its authorized strength growing only slightly from fifty-five to sixty percent.[4][5]
In 3113 the Thirtieth MSC was challenged to a Trial of Possession by elements of the Second Falcon Dragoons on Chateau. The Falcons wanted a Star of Balius OmniMechs. Though the Horses fought well, the appearance of the Gyrfalcon BattleMech confused them and the Horses eventually asked for hegira. The Falcons didn't take the Baliuses as their prize, instead they destroyed the 'Mechs in front of the Thirtieth's warriors.[6]
By 3145 the Thirtieth was stationed on Verthandi and was at seventy percent of its authorized strength.[7]
