Welcome to the GameRules WikiProject. The intent of this project is to remove or rephrase game rules in articles in order to avoid plagiarism. The project page is being created in order to mark articles that need review while awaiting consensus on the issue. It is currently a work in progress.
Contents
Types of Game Rules Encountered[edit]
This is a rough classification of the different kinds of rules that have been found in the Wiki, to better inform the policy discussion.
- Blank Rules Section (fairly common)
- Example: Pesht Guards, Dark Dragos
- Rules Text, No Numbers, in a section in an article.
- Rules Text, Some Numbers, in a section in an article.
- "Specification", almost entirely stats section in an article.
- Examples: Sonic Stunner, Sound and Flash Suppressor, Medipatch, Staff (weapon),
- Rules-Heavy. This page exists to provide game rules.
- Examples: Skills List, 'Mech Duel Rules, Unit Battle Damage
