Clan Ice Hellion continued the preference for light and medium-weight machines even to their aerospace forces. Eventually, the loss of machines in dogfights to heavier forces forced the Clan to increase the weight of the fighters to increase the survivability of their pilots. Battlefield material is preserved by skilled Ice Hellion technicians, and prized WarShips were rarely damaged before the Hellion's Fury campaign.[2]

All WarShips were lost either in the Clan's failed attempt at forming their own Invasion Corridor in Operation ICE STORM or to the chaos of the Wars of Reaving. Only a single abtakha Clan Smoke Jaguar vessel survived to the absorption by Clan Goliath Scorpion.[3]
