Planetary Info

Rosetta is a moon of Champollion that was terraformed by the Rim Worlds Republic for easier access to its mineral resources. Rosetta is known to have increased periods of tectonic and volcanic activity when each 150 years two stars of its system approach the Champollion closer causing tidal interactions. At the time Rosetta's plains are flooded with molten sulfur.[1]

First sulfur flood happen after colonization and colonists were prepared, but for the second time, when there was no more Rim Worlds Republic the colony of 14 million citizens was devastated. Since then colonists moved to less endangered area, far from Rosetta's nearside to Champollion.[1]

Rosetta is ruled by council, occasionally taken over by pirates using it as a strike base.[1]
