Planetary History[edit]

Reunification War[edit]

Settled at some point prior to the end of the Age of War,[2] Lockton was a member of the Magistracy of Canopus when a Star League Defense Force task force under the command of Captain-General Marion Marik was assigned to conquer the Magistracy in 2577. Lockton was raided by the SLDF in 2582 in imitation of the raids the Magistracy Armed Forces had successfully conducted against SLDF assets,[43] and then Lockton was targeted for invasion in 2583 following the catastrophic losses the MAF navy took at Thurrock. Lockton and was conquered quickly by VII Corps' Fifty-seventh Brigade.[4][44]

Lockton would be occupied by the SLDF for the remainder of the war; once the Reunification War ended, a number of Magistracy worlds were annexed by the Free Worlds League, but Lockton remained a part of the Magistracy.[4][5]

Fall of the Star League[edit]

During the final years of the Star League, Lockton was the host to a SLDF garrison.[45]

Geography[edit]

Lockton was a very inhospitable world that relied heavily on water imports from Oasis, one of its moons. The only landmass was home to Helios, the capital city, and was also named Lockton.[49]
