History

Gurbeng Garrison Cluster was part of Epsilon Galaxy during the invasion of the Inner Sphere. It was composed entirely of Freeborn warriors. These warriors attempted to emulate every aspect of Trueborn culture and rituals, to the point were they disliked by Freeborn and Trueborn alike.[1]

In November 3051 the Cluster along with the Choyer Garrison Cluster assaulted the planet of Cusset. The First and Third Cusset Militia put up little resistance against them despite numbering two 'Mech Battalions and six mixed armor and infantry regiments. More of a problem for the Clan troops was the virulent Cusset Crud virus that the Clan med-tech found difficult to treat.[2]

December 3051 saw the cluster attack Wheel against it easily defeated the planet's defenders, the First Wheel Mechanized Militia and The Free Wheelers, as both units failed to act in unison.[3]

After the Battle of Tukayyid the Cluster, which had taken moderate casualties, was assigned to Sigma Galaxy and stationed on Laurent in 3045.[4]

The Refusal War

The Cluster survived the Refusal War and was temporarily assigned to Epsilon Galaxy in January 3058 as part of the sort lived Clan Jade Wolf.[5] When the Wolf Clan was reborn the cluster was disbanded to provide warriors for newly forming Clusters as Wolves reorganized their forces.[6]

Officers

Star Colonel Jersano was was in command in 3052, he was the only freeborn warrior at the time to hold so high a rank.[1] Star Colonel Graham was in command in 3058.

The cluster was not noted for a special tactics.
