The Dark Age

The Hollis Incorporated plant on Corey was apparently raided by troops from the Oriente Protectorate in 3125; the raiders assaulted the plant by making rapid air drops that deployed BattleMechs around the factory and squads of Xiphos battle armor directly into the plant. Those defending the plant were swiftly dispatched and the raiders made off with tons of spare parts for Catapult 'Mechs when they fled the system.[6]

In the mid-3140s it came to light that the raiders who struck at Hollis Incorporated in 3125 weren't actually from the Oriente Protectorate; instead, files accidentally released during the dissolution of the Marik-Stewart Commonwealth revealed that the raiders had actually been elements of the Eighth Free Worlds Legionnaires, who had travelled clandestinely through Oriente Protectorate space while deliberately wearing the colors of the Protectorate.[6]
