The Yunnah system is home to at least one habitable planet, Yunnah VI, and as of 3145 was located in the Sarna Commonality of the Capellan Confederation.[3][4]

System Description[edit]

The Yunnah system lies close to the Corey and Elnath systems[3][4] and consists of a class K3III primary orbited by at least six planets.[2]

System History[edit]

The Yunnah system was colonized at some point during the Star League era after the end of the Reunification War.[5][6]

Yunnah VI, or more commonly simply Yunnah, is the sixth planet in the Yunnah system. It is a hot and moonless world.[1][2]

Planetary History[edit]

Third Succession War[edit]

Despite its considerable mineral wealth, Yunnah remained nearly uninhabited as late as 3025, when the Capellan government established advanced repair and medical facilities here. Apart from these installations, no significant settlements or infrastructure are known to have existed on this world at this time.[1]

Fourth Succession War[edit]

Following the speech given by First Prince Hanse Davion on the 16th of November 3029, the official day of thanks in the Federated Suns, contained a number of revelations including the creation of the St. Ives Compact and was taken by many as an open sign that the Fourth Succession War was close to ending.[40] The Armed Forces of the Federated Suns launched the Seventh Wave of Operation RAT shortly after, in a determined effort to secure as many systems as possible for an armistice was declared. The Seventh Wave capitalized on negotiations that had been conducted in secret between the Federated Suns and various planetary governments in the remnants of the Sarna Commonality who lacked defenses and were far more fearful of being annexed by the Free Worlds League, a state hated for centuries of raids and invasions, than they were the Federated Suns. In the last week of November the AFFS occupied thirteen systems, including Yunnah. The AFFS encountered little resistance, and relatively few troops were needed to provide a garrison to maintain calm.[20]

The Jihad[edit]

In 3079, Yunnah is the site of a CCAF Duchy RTC that trains vehicle crews and conventional infantry.[2]

- At this time, the Sixth were deployed across Elnath, Yunnah and Second Try. The Sixth was at 50% of full strength, with 85% of their equipment featuring upgraded technology.

Geography[edit]

The landmass on Yunnah consists of a single continent named Burma.[2]
